1. About us

MathbuddyAi ("we", "us", "our") is operated by Lin Yong Jun, an individual seller based in Singapore. By using mathbuddyai.com or any related service (the "Service"), you ("you", "the user") enter into a contract with us on the terms set out below.

2. Acceptance

By creating an account or continuing to use the Service, you confirm that you have read, understood and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

You must be at least 18 years old, or have the consent of a parent or legal guardian, to register an account. MathbuddyAi is intended for use by parents on behalf of children aged 6 to 13.

3. The Service

The Service provides online math practice content for Singapore primary students (P1–P6), including questions, hints, step-by-step explanations and a parent dashboard. We may add, change or remove features at any time.

4. Account & credentials

You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for all activity under your account. You agree to provide accurate information and to keep it up to date.

5. Acceptable use

You must not, and must not allow anyone else to:

• use the Service for any unlawful, fraudulent, or harmful purpose;
• send spam, malware, or other harmful code;
• infringe any intellectual property or privacy right;
• attempt to access, probe, scrape, or interfere with the Service or its security;
• resell, redistribute, or sublicense access to the Service;
• reverse engineer or attempt to extract the source code of the Service.

6. Intellectual property

We retain all rights, title and interest in the Service, including all software, content, branding and documentation. You receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service in accordance with your subscription plan.

7. Subscription, payment and refunds

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns.

Payment terms, billing, currency, taxes, automatic renewal, cancellation and refund mechanics are governed by the Paddle Buyer Terms. Our refund policy is set out in our Refund Policy.

8. Service availability

We aim to keep the Service available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free performance. The Service is provided "as is", and to the fullest extent permitted by law we disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.

9. Suspension & termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service if you materially breach these Terms, fail to pay, or if we reasonably believe your use poses a security or fraud risk. On termination, your right to use the Service ends immediately. We may delete account data after a reasonable export window.

10. Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the Service is capped at the fees paid by you in the 12 months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, special, or consequential damages, including loss of profits, data, or goodwill. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for fraud, death, or personal injury caused by negligence.

11. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify us against claims arising from your unlawful use of the Service or your breach of these Terms.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Singapore. Disputes will be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Singapore.

13. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
