MathbuddyAi is operated by Lin Yong Jun, an individual seller based in Singapore ("we", "us"). We are the data controller for the personal data described in this notice. You can reach us at support@mathbuddyai.com.
2. What we collect and why

Payment data (card numbers, billing address) is collected directly by our Merchant of Record, Paddle, and is not stored by us.
3. Who we share data with
- Paddle.com — our Merchant of Record. Paddle processes payments, manages subscriptions, handles tax compliance, issues invoices, and processes refunds and chargebacks.
- Hosting and infrastructure providers (e.g., Lovable, Cloudflare, Supabase) for hosting, database, authentication and serverless compute.
- Analytics providers for aggregated, anonymised usage analytics.
- Authorities where required by law or to protect our legal rights.
4. International transfers
Some of our service providers are located outside Singapore, including in the United Kingdom, European Economic Area and United States. Where data is transferred internationally, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses or adequacy decisions.
5. Data retention
We retain personal data for as long as your account is active and for a reasonable period afterwards to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes and enforce our agreements. You may request deletion at any time (see "Your rights" below).
6. Security
We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal data, including encryption in transit, access controls, and the use of reputable cloud providers. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we work to protect your data using industry-standard practices.
7. Your rights
You have the right to:
- access the personal data we hold about you;
- request correction of inaccurate data;
- request deletion of your data (right to be forgotten);
- request restriction of processing;
- request data portability;
- object to processing based on legitimate interests;
- withdraw consent at any time, where processing is based on consent;
- lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

8. Children
MathbuddyAi is designed for parents to use on behalf of their children. We do not knowingly collect personal data directly from children under 13 without parental consent. Parents control all account and child profile information.
9. Cookies
We use essential cookies to keep you signed in and to remember preferences, and analytics cookies to measure usage. Where required by law, we ask for your consent before setting non-essential cookies.

We may update this notice from time to time. The "Last updated" date above reflects the latest version.
